Capybara Mart is a fun supermarket management game where you play as a capybara running your own tiny store. You’ll stock goods, load the shelves, service customers and slowly grow your store into a busy supermarket.
Capybara Mart is playable from the get go, thanks to its simplistic controls - all you need to manoeuvre your capybara throughout the store is WASD or arrow keys. But simple does not mean shallow, as the gameplay loop is ingeniously constructed:
There is nothing for people to buy from bare shelves. Thus your first and permanent job is to rush and get merchandise, filling the shelves before customers grow impatient and walk away.
When the shelves are full, customer capybaras will automatically come by, pick products, pay and bring you money.
The money made is not only “put away in a drawer”, but pumped right back into the business – extending the area, adding additional shelves, opening up new product sections.
And that’s the “incremental” part of the game, every modest purchase unlocks a bigger possibility, and players are hooked into an infinite cycle of growth - a type of gameplay where you’re thinking, “Just 5 more minutes,” and before you know it, an hour’s gone by.
A supermarket doesn’t run on its own. That’s where the capybara squad comes in. As sales grow, you can hire more capybaras, each taking on a part of the everyday operation:
Eventually your supermarket will not only be selling a few basic things. The necessity to extend rooms and shelves to handle more goods and customers. There are new product lines being unlocked all the time therefore Every expansion brings more than simply space - it takes the game’s entire growth to the next level, unlocking new goals and prizes, keeping the experience fresh rather than monotonous and boring.
In general, Capybara Mart belongs to a lately popular genre: the cute animals (rather than people) as major protagonists in games that run tiny shops, restaurants, or resorts. Common qualities of this genre are its relaxation, vivid graphics and intuitive "work-earn-expand" system – great for quick breaks without too much thinking, but deep enough for those who prefer grinding to stay interested for a long time.
Take charge of Capybara Mart and turn your tiny store into a lively supermarket filled with adorable capybaras.
