In Sprunkybox, you don’t need to know how to play a musical instrument or know about harmony to create your own Halloween soundtrack. This music game presents 20 felt-filled monster characters on a little stage decked with pumpkins, stars and eerie colours. Each features its own sounds and animations, from pounding drum rhythms and deep bass to weird vocalists and scary effects. Your job is to blend them into a unique band and discover the secrets behind the music.
Sprunkybox gives you 7 positions on the stage to set your performance order. Drag the characters from the selection tray to each slot and listen to how the sounds combine. A couple of simple taps and you've got a captivating background rhythm, and adding vocals or eerie effects will make the mix interesting.
One of the interesting things is that there is no specific formula to follow. The combinations invite you to explore, so don't hesitate to switch up your lineup until you find the ideal sound. Mute, Solo and Remove tools allow you to mute, listen to or remove individual characters. This enables you play with the role of each sound layer before you finish your work.

Sprunkybox also offers a reward system for people that like to explore, in addition to free-form music mixing. There are 19 secret tracks that can be unlocked by special character combinations.
This way, instead of just mindlessly screwing around with the noises forever, you may have some solid objectives for each session, and a log of the combos you’ve tried.
The biggest change is when you introduce the dark mystery character on stage. Lights flicker, thunder booms, crimson eyes glow, shadows creep across the landscape. The cheery ambiance soon gives place to a grim Halloween realm.
Dark Mode is more than just changing the background. In the second phase characters also get new sounds, making familiar mixtures even more odd. You can also switch between Light Mode and Dark Mode to find the atmosphere that suits the music you are working on.
You just need your mouse and you can drag and drop text, mute, listen to specific sounds or delete sounds. Spacebar to resume the mix, F for full screen, Esc to close the control panel.
Sprunkybox is a great tool for individuals who like playing with noises, discovering secrets and finding the contrast between the cute fluffy monsters and the terrifying Halloween soundtrack. Each team change may uncover a new combination, and the 19 secret songs provide extra objectives for subsequent playthroughs.
