There are questions where the most correct answer isn't necessarily the smartest. In Noillirk, the key is to guess what the majority will say when faced with the same question. Each time you correctly guess the majority, your character is lifted higher by three balloons. A familiar word is sometimes more valuable than a unique answer that you spent a lot of time thinking about.

How To Play Noillirk Think Fast Guess Majority

The round starts with a three second countdown and then the question and answer box appear. You get 15 seconds to answer, or you can skip that turn. You get one shot to answer , no editing after you hit submit . So you need to have rapid reflexes and establish associations . Questions include familiar topics such as food, objects, family, school, employment, travel and amusement. You might ask about a popular food, in which case pizza would be a better example than some obscure speciality. The game is not about knowing the answers to a quiz, but about how popular the answers are.

Score Determines Altitude

In Noillirk, each answer is scored based on its ranking. The most popular answer gets 100 points, the next three get 64 points, and answers in the fifth to ninth place get 32 points. Less popular answers can still earn 16, 8, or 4 points if they appear on the accepted list. The higher the score, the farther the character flies from the ground. The scenery gradually changes from the green canopy to the sky, through clouds and airplanes. If you get all seven top answers in Classic or Daily mode, you will accumulate 700 points and reach an altitude of approximately 14 km.

Four Modes for Different Types of Players

  • Daily: Seven identical questions for all players that day. You only have one turn to complete this set of questions, allowing you to compare your score with friends.
  • Classic: Each turn begins with seven new questions. A good choice to practise your judgement and aim to hit the 700 point barrier.
  • Unlimited: There is no limit to the amount of questions. You start with three balls, and you lose a ball for not scoring, not passing, or running out of time. Scoring answers assist to keep your ball count going, and the highest answer can give you one ball back, maximum three.
  • Multiplayer: Enter a room with other players, answer 7 questions together and compare your total score after the last turn.

Tips for High Score

Think Like the Majority

Don't look for a too imaginative answer. Give preference to short, recognisable words that are regularly thought of. Long answers are a waste of your important time and sometimes the plural or equivalent forms are acceptable. You may play Noillirk simply in your browser, no installation or account creation needed. One rule to remember: don't answer on personal preference, strive to think like the majority.
