Plants vs Brain Zombies is a defense strategy game where players plant special plants to prevent the relentless attacks of Brain Zombies. The game brings a sense of drama and fun when you have to calculate strategies while admiring the colorful confrontations between plants and zombies.

Attractive Gameplay In Plants vs Brain Zombies

Planting Plants Is Not Simply Placing Troops

Each type of plant (defender plant) has its own ability: there are plants that shoot bullets, plants that slow down, plants that explode or cause large-area damage.

You need to choose the location of the plants cleverly: place them on important lanes, combine defensive and offensive plants to create a "natural defense system".

The Zombie Waves Never Stop Protecting

Zombies — or more specifically, Brain Zombies — will move along "lanes" from right to left, towards your "brain".

If a zombie reaches the “destination” (brain), you can lose (or lose points, lose resources).

Each level is a wave. Each wave has different difficulty, quantity, and types of zombies, from normal zombies, fast zombies, armored zombies, to “special” zombies with their own skills.

Collect – Evolve – Unlock

  • When defeating zombies, you can collect them (record them in the collection). Thanks to that, you open up “information” about each type of zombie, creating excitement for collecting.
  • Upgrade plants or combine (merge) between plants to create stronger versions (if there is a merge/upgrade mechanism).
  • Unlock new plants, open new levels, and explore new map areas. Each area will have its own characteristics and challenges.

Resources & Rewards

  • You will need a “planting money” resource (similar to “sun” in the original Plants vs. Zombies series) to turn plants into plants on the field.
  • Rewards from the game include money, experience points, potential to open new trees, zombie collection points, and more.

Tips For New Players

  • Prioritize placing basic, stable trees from the beginning (e.g., trees that shoot evenly, trees that create resources) before using special trees.
  • If there are slowing trees, place them at the beginning of the zombie path to reduce attack speed, giving the attacking trees more time to shoot.
  • Focus on collecting strong zombies that appear late because they often have special skills, helping to expand the gameplay.
  • Manage resources carefully, don't waste them on strong trees early if they are easily defeated by "strong armor" zombies.

Points To Note

  • If the balance is not good, the state of "trees are as strong as gods, easy to win" or "zombies are too overwhelming, cannot be blocked" may appear.
  • Upgrading or unlocking if too much reliance on in-game purchases will make free players "weak".
  • Plants & Zombies should be designed in a way that they don't get repetitive or boring if they're few in number or don't have much variation, they'll get boring.

Plants vs Brain Zombies is a fun strategy game where you need to use your wits and your plant army to stop the relentless attacks of Brain Zombies.
